How to sew the design?
Once you have assembled your pdf pattern, it should have the following form (I have made a sewing pattern with smaller parameters for demonstration):
The length of the inner circle directly corresponds to your inputted waist measurement, forming the top edge where the skirt will sit on your body. The outer circle represents the hemline, with its varying distance from the inner arc creating the shorter front length and longer back length, as per your specified desired values.
Note: The pattern does not include seam allowances, so remember to add them (1-1.5 cm for seams, 2-3 cm for the hem) when tracing onto fabric.
To proceed with sewing:
1. Pre-wash and iron your chosen fabric to prevent shrinkage.
2. Trace around the pattern, adding your seam allowances. Cut carefully along these lines to create the skirt body. Also cut the waistband rectangle from your fabric, adding allowances.
3. Add an invisible Zipper at the back.
4. Attach the waistband.
